Snug Tile Backer Boards
Overview
HCFC-free, waterproof XPS core, reinforced with fiberglass and coated with cement, Snug Tile Backer Boards provide exceptional strength and vapor resistance, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of applications including tiling wet areas, such as showers or wet rooms, or to provide insulation when used in conjunction with underfloor heating. A lightweight board, easy to handle, and easy to cut.

Closed Cell Insulation
Overview
The closed cell insulation is a 3mm or 6mm insulation designed to work in conjunction with our FME system. The insulation provides cushioning for the FME and stops abrasion of the cable on the subfloor. It should be placed on the subfloor first, followed by the FME mat on top.
The finish floor (wood, laminate, carpet) can then be laid directly on top; or a floor heating suitable sound proofing membrane / underlay can be placed on top, followed by the floor finish.

- Available in a thickness of 3mm or 6mm.
- Available in lengths of 5m or 10m.
Snug Thermscrews
Overview
ThermScrews are specifically designed for fixing our Snug Tile Backer Boards down to both concrete and wood subfloors. It is advised that 15 of the galvanised washers should be used to fix down each 600 x 1200 board.
Key Features
- Available in packs of 50 (50 washers and 50 screws in each pack)
- The screw gauge is 3.5mm with a counter sunk Philips head
- The galvanised washers are 0.9mm thick
