Snug Low-Profile
Overview
Our Snug Cemboard system is a high compressive 300KPA XPS underfloor heating insulation board for low-profile systems. It includes a glass fibre reinforcement mesh and a cementitious coating on both sides.
Tiles or wood flooring can be laid directly on top of the boards after priming, removing the need for screed, and speeding up the overall time of the project. The board size is 1200mm x 600mm x 20mm, and is grooved for 16mm diameter underfloor heating pipe.

| Tile – Ability to tile directly to the Cemboards using standard tile adhesive. |
| Laminate Floors/Wood – Can be laid directly onto the boards perpendicular to the pipework. Flexible levelling compound may be required to fill in gaps and uneven sections. |
| Vinyl – Boards require priming and a minimum of 10mm levelling compound. |
| Carpet – Boards require priming and a minimum of 10mm levelling compound. |
Please check with your flooring providers specifications on floor build-up (The above table is recommendation only).
Floor Finishes must not exceed 2.5 Tog, please ensure floor finishes are suitable for underfloor heating.
The Snug Low-Profile boards should be installed in a staggered format and glued together, the boards can also be plugged and screwed down if required. Uneven floors can be self-levelled or the groove boards can be tiled down using standard tile adhesive, ensuring the adhesive fully covers and supports them.
Both the small and large Snug end supports should be plugged and screwed when installing.
