Snug Thermblocks
Overview
ThermBlocks are an aid to help with the installation of loose underfloor heating cable. Designed to be installed down 2 sides of the room, the set spaced mouldings allow the installer to fix the cable at the correct spacing quickly and efficiently. They can be fixed down using double sided tape or screwed down to the subfloor. Once secure, simply loop the cable in the pre-grooved angles.
The system can be used on both in screed options and standard under-tile systems. The mouldings are placed every 25mm and each strip comes as a 300mm length. Each strip can easily be clipped together to the next.

Snug ThermFix
Overview
ThermFIX is a galvanised fixing strip, designed to aid fixing of loose cable to the subfloor during installation. The fixing strip has inbuilt hooks, which can give centre’s between 15-30mm. The strip should be placed perpendicular to the heating cable and be fixed to the subfloor with either nails, double sided fixing tape or if installed around a tank, it should be welded or secured with metal banding. It is important that there is no movement in the strip. The ThermFIX should be installed evenly across the subfloor surface
At intervals of 0.75 – 1m, to ensure that the cable is firmly in place. When using in partnership with floor heating, it should be placed around the edge of the room, with a minimum gap of 100mm between the strip and wall.
